Probably one of the best surf campaigns ever, the original Rip Curl The Search still conjures up great memories for me of surfing in the nineties and immersing myself in the pages of surf magazines and photography. We can all still remember the iconic posters with timeless line ups of Mozambique and the Mentawais… Frankie and Tom surfing to “All along the watchtower…’’ Ah, those were good times! It’s funny how you cant tell at the time how things may influence and shape your future…
Stoked on the center spread in the latest issue of Zigzag, on sale now… go get it!

My partner in crime, Jay Hearn Dog has been rubbing shoulders with the big wigs of the Surf Film Industry recently. He is currently in New York promoting his movie, the Africa Project and getting great reviews. So stoked for him, he really deserves it! Jay mailed me these snap shots of my photos from the movie which run inside front and back cover of the festivals program. Not too shabby we think! Told him to bring me back a copy. Keep it up Jay, awesome stuff!
